Lower Limb Management Practices in Primary Health Care Facilities at Langa Community Health Center

Lower ekstremity sports injuries are common problems experienced by athletes and physycally active individuals.injuries such as ankle sprains,muscle strains,and reduce sports performance if not properly managed. This study aimed to determine the management and prevention of lower exstremity sports injuries through observation,interviews,and simulation activities at Langa comunity health center.A descpritive qualitative method was used,with data collected through observation of healthcare facilities and procedures,structured interviews with healthcare profesionals,and simulation of injury management using the PRICE method(Protection,rest,ice,compression,elevation).the results showed that Langa comunity health center has implemented standard procedures for lower extremity injury management suported by adequate facilites and equipement. Healthcare profesionals also provide education on warm-up,cool-down,use of suportive devices,the absence of a dedicated physioterapy room remains a limitation for advanced rehabillitation services
