Abstract

The digital transformation of the past two decades has brought significant changes to the global economy, including in Indonesia, with a shift from cash to non-cash payment systems. Bank Indonesia launched the National Non-Cash Movement (GNNT) to encourage this transition, in line with the vision of an inclusive digital economy. Although the digitalization of payment systems has accelerated the adoption of non-cash transactions, challenges such as infrastructure gaps and digital literacy remain, particularly in non-urban areas. Collaboration between financial institutions, the government, and MSMEs is crucial to addressing barriers, including the high ratio of non-performing loans. The GNNT program opens opportunities for MSMEs to enter the digital economy ecosystem, increases access to financing, and supports business growth. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used to analyze the impact of the GNNT on MSME performance, indicating that financial literacy support and technology training are essential to ensure the success of this transition. The study results indicate that appropriate interventions can narrow the digital divide and strengthen local economies, with the GNNT potentially being a key driver in creating a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
