Abstract

This research discusses the development of a detection and prevention system for Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) threats in Indonesian maritime territory by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sensor fusion technology. The background of this research is driven by the increasing maritime security threats that are asymmetric and difficult to detect conventionally. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, analyzing the implementation of policies and strategies across maritime entities. The results show that the integration of AI and sensor fusion can improve detection accuracy, accelerate responses, and strengthen coordination between institutions such as the Indonesian Navy, Bakamla, Satpolairud, and Customs. This system is expected to be part of the national maritime security strategy to address USV threats effectively and sustainably.
