Traffic Performance Analysis (LHR) on the Sp. Tiga Bolok-km.9 (Tenau) Road Section, Kupang City Using the MDP 2024 and MKJI 1997 Methods

Road infrastructure issues such as road damage, delays, and insufficient road capacity are causing inconvenience for road users in several areas of Kupang City. One such area is the section of Jalan SP. Tiga Bolok - KM. 9 (Tenau) in Kupang City, which is a domestic area within the city. To address these issues, road characteristics such as traffic volume, road capacity, and degree of saturation will be analyzed through a study of this road section. The study conducted in this research is a survey carried out on the SP. Tiga Bolok - KM. 9 (Tenau) road section in Kupang City over three days, with the aim of analyzing the relationship between the degree of saturation and road capacity. The analysis of road capacity performance yielded a DS value of 0.19 vehicles per hour and an effective daily traffic flow of 445 vehicles per hour. Comparing the road capacity of 2,322.9 vehicles per hour with the degree of saturation, the percentage of the road capacity's influence on the degree of saturation is 19%. Therefore, the traffic flow on that road section is categorized as still very stable.
